what makes a girl feel like a princess? a package full with dior make-up! a few days ago my heart melted, when i got this wonderful... wait... AMAZING package my dior make-up. i was already a fan of their brand new launched website Backstage Dior and getting my hands on these goodies definitely made a dream come true. here's a little list of what's decorating my bathroom shelves now:

my favorite is definitely the make-up, even though it's a little darker than the compact powder that i've been using for years, the liquid make-up is perfect for the summer. plaza, the vernis color, is the coolest i've seen in a long time. i have never tried dior nail polish before and i am really satisfied. the blush shocked me at first because it seemed to bright, which normally doesn't work with my tan skin, but it somehow adapts to your skin tone and gives such a fresh impression. anyway, i could go on and on, about how much i'm in love with these goodies. the boyfriend also got lucky, he kept the acqua di parma perfume, which makes him smell like summer, the ocean and romantic dates on a sailing boat...

as i said: 5°C feels like summer to me right now. i got so many amazing things, like these wedges on sale at zara and this coat (i blogged about it also here) at the cheapest store on rue des rosiers in paris and i am so happy to finally be wearing them. "she's wearing a (fake - to be clear) leather coat, a rock necklace and she's posing in front of a brick wall - wow she must be GANGSTER".... well yeah, i am. SO gangster.

like i said: it feels like summer! maybe i am exaggerating a tiny little bit, but it definitely feels gooooood. i got most of these goodies on sale, as you can tell i went a little crazy over zara's sale in january. color blocking has been my all time favorite, but i guess you have noticed that already. i got a REALLY exciting package in the mail today, i can NOT wait to tell you about it. (i am slightly going bananza over it).

i should have titled this post with "CAUTON! LOADS OF CHEESYNESS AHEAD". but hey: i don't get to have a lot of cheesy couple days during the week so the weekend has the be extra cheesy, haha. after -10°C for about two weeks the +5°C right now feel like summer. seriously. i guess that's how menopause will feel! anyway, this yellow scarf is my new favorite, a really sweet friend bought it at zara and i copycated (is that a proper word?) it. today's sunday, i am heading for a brunch with victoria (victorypug) and anna (h.anna) - see you guys!

keeping this blog updated has been one of the hardest tasks for me lately. since i've started working full-time the few hours i have left at night are already packed with different things, like valentine's dinner last night. the bf organized a very romantic dinner at a cute little italian place. 5 courses and a bottle of wine, unfortunately the last two courses didn't make it to this post. probably because the wine did it's job (watch out for the lazy eyes in my last photo!).

my new beauty favorites! i'm kind of addicted to sephora because i love their sephora collection brand a lot. the products are fab and the price is always right. the nail polish remover really tops it all! inside there's a sponge, so all you have to do is stick your finger inside and the nail polish comes off. it's SO convenient for traveling.

so many of you were asking about my diana mini photos and here they finally are. you can check out my post about this wonderful camera i got from lomography for christmas here. after i decided to leave my SLR at home and only take the iphone and my diana mini to paris with me  i knew it was a risky mission. the instagram turned out perfectly and now after developing the film from my lomo camera i am quite satisfied. i still have to figure out the exposure and since it was a -10 °C weekend trip the greyish look of these photos simply resembles the weather. also some photos turned out blurry, but like i said: the cam and i have to get to know each other with time (i have very romantic feelings when it comes to cameras).

 ps: i realized i am the most cliche tourist ever. most of my film has been filled with the eiffel tower motive. laaaaame.
