a weekend full of love, old friends and amazing food. went to phil, their service was shit as usual but their toasted sandwiches really make up for their incompetent, grumpy waiters.

2. Deichmann Boots
3. Nowhere Peek Shoes via nelly.at

Blogging lately has brought so many inspirations, that there were some main items I really needed. I was looking for the H&M leather vest for ages, but I couldn't find my size and 129 € was also a price I didn't want to pay. Luckily I found a PU version of it at Forever 21. I am really not a fan of PU, but for a vest I don't mind, since it's just a loose fitting item. The one on my collage is the H&M one, but the one from F21 looks the exact same!
Then I found these biker boots on Victoria's blog, who found it on Sonja's blog (now that's what I call domino effect!). You won't believe it: they're from Deichmann. I have never been in any of their stores and would have never thought to ever buy shoes there. But I was looking for a cheap biker boot, since I won't wear my good leather boots out when it's snowing, since snow and salt on the streets have ruined my shoes every winter.
And last but not least: The Peek Shoes by Nowhere. Elin Kling and the designer Nhu Duong have launched their brand Nowhere and after selling their pieces online via nelly.com, they have finally released their shoe line! I already saw them in the lookbook and I was waiting impatiently until they were available online.
Now I feel like the coolest kid on the blogger block, haha.

So some people have aked me about my make-up routine. I have to say that I am really not a pro when it comes to make-up and I have had the same routine over the past years. When I love a product I keep buying it again and again. Now it might seem like I am spending a lot on make-up, but I am good at finding bargains and when there's a 20 % discount at some stores every year, I buy everything I need to survive for the following months. I think all of the products shown are are self-describing.
Face: I use a Kiehl's Limited Ultra Facial Moisturizer every night before going to bed. I have very sensitive skin and this lotion is the first that works for me. Except that I only treat my skin with water. I use a creamy foundation, mostly only around the eyes. Then a loose powder and some purple blush, which matches my dark skin.
Eyes: I like nude and brown shades around the eyes. On the weekends sometimes a smokey eye, but too much make-up looks so cheap and I really prefer natural looks. I used to trim my eyebrows too much, now I just let them grow and use a eyebrow pencil, because eyebrows frame your face and it changes the whole look. This Eyeliner from YSL is the best ever, because it's both an eyeliner and eyeshadow, if you blur it out.
Lips: When it comes to lips there's really only Chanel for me. I know they're not cheap, but they will last and last and last. And the colors are just so right.

boots ZALANDO / pants, bag, shirt, jacket ZARA / scarf H&M / belt MONKI / watch ASOS / arm cuff URBAN OUTFITTERS
there are some essential basics for a girl's wardrobe. when it comes to shoes, a good pair of ankle boots and a pair of classic knee boots are a must. after getting the wonderful ambush boots from topshop i now found the perfect pair of classic black knee boots. i ordered them via zalando.at and got them so quickly. the shop has so many search options, that i was able to do a super refined search. i've been looking for days and days through their shop and it was really hard to make a choice... i also love their vagabond shoes, but this pair from their own brand, zalando shoes, simply impressed me with it's unique design: simple, but very feminine. check out their womens shoes here: zalando damenschuhe
the only thing that's now missing is a warm winter coat. any suggestions, girls and boys?

i've been looking for a good laptop bag in ages. i take my laptop almost everywhere and so it was really time to get proper protection for it. after almost giving up i found this wonderful bag by an austrian company called bluhm & schwarz. all their bags feature a photographed cover and this modell, "the monet", features an analogue photograph, which i immediately fell in love with. it does remind me of impressionist paintings. i love the shades of grey and the fact that it doesn't look like an average laptop bag. and since it's made out of truck tarp, i am sure, this piece will last for a long, long time....
ps: also check out their facebook page for news and give aways!

blouse URBAN OUTFITTERS / skirt H&M / shoes TOPSHOP
soooo this is one of my weird posing moments. like i already mentioned once: i am having a really hard time posing. i feel awkward and stupid every time. candid looks better and i love frozen movement pics, so we tried hard, but it turned out that legs always look really odd walking, haha. anyway: i spent a great weekend, visited the family and ate a lot. it's freezing outside, so outfit posts in the future will either contain a coat or me with goosebumps.

i am invited to showrooms probably every week. a lot of times i end up really disappointed, because they're pretty much all the same. if i have learned something in marketing class it's: as a brand you have to be authentic and follow your style. so why do so many companies present their new collections in boring rooms with boring settings? well diesel seems to do their homework when it comes to giving their brand shape. their SS 2012 showrom was a-m-a-z-i-n-g and really spoke for every single piece of their new collection. except from the little delay and having to wait in the cold, what waited for us on the inside was just incredible. a hidden club in the very old town of vienna, with several rooms, models functioning as actors, great cocktails and super nice interior. ufortunately in some rooms the pieces were a little poorly lit, but i guess it was part of the whole athmosphere in there. the collection contains very feminine work dresses, great silk/leather pieces and stylish fabric bags.
the evening at elysium was really a perfect one. the give-away at the end was also pretty cool and because i love my readers i will be giving it to one of you. thanks to diesel for an amazing night.

now this might seem like i am having ridiculous problems in my life. which is true. because i am having a bag-dilemma. nelly gave me a voucher for their online shop and since i am in a need for a black shoulder bag i decided to use my voucher for that. but the choice is so huge. which one should i pick?
